Schizoanalysis as Metamodeling

which is related to the idea of "flows", potentiality and actuality in cycle, something like this:

or in my interpreation in Finnish:

ok, maybe this would need some deeper interpreation ... :)

I have taken one drawing that was something like  table, divided on four parts with the table cloth pattern and four plates.
here are the audio notes

FIRST: taken by pushing the button play and stop every 4 sec.

hyyh, audio is coming soon...

SECOND: play and stop is pushed when Kari (which is talking) is moving and not moving his hands (gesticulating or not)

Time of transformation

Autonomous virtual time sets up militarisation of depersonalized time of person. It is as simple as being mastered by virtual clock. Singular creative process reqires autonomy in time.  Time of transformation.  Or the connection of time with a material condition. Process in matter. Martin Welton talks about the historical process of disconnection the weather conditions from the theater: exchanged to equal air conditioning enclosed room. The weather is a common reality and transformation process of ordinarity as a part of the piece, or as something that doesn’t let you separate thiese two realitites and take it as an one. Transformation need all conditions of you.  Time of matter is time of growing, time of growing roots and growing leaves, time of rain and time of sun. It is unequal, conditional and uncountable in number.

Perfect Human

Here are some random video-links that came to my mind.

Perfect Human, by Joergen Leth

the classic Stanford prison experiment.

...

Mollecular and else

Ok,
here is some microcontribution, on links mostly.
Here is the website for the Finnish Mollecular organization, a new network for polictical and social theorists and artists. Mostly starting from the theoretical discourse of Félix Guattari, Gilles Deleuze and Italian Neo-operaismo - for instance. But mostly we are trying to develop some new tools to cope with the all too common, present, precarious living conditions of ours. I must apologize that most of the stuff is still in Finnish, but there is some audiofiles on the link "recordings", and short introduction in english.

www.mollecular.org

A web-based magazine called Ephemera has interisting articles, and namely to the subject of autopoiesis and newly developed concept of copoiesis by Bracha Ettinger.

Website of Ephemera.

and the article of Ettinger on Copoiesis.

Inflexions is also a great web-magazine on the theory of interaction.

Inflexions.

And finally a version of the presentation that I gave-those who have interest into it.

Autopoiesis

http://www.oikos.org/mariotti.htm

the term "autopoiesis" expresses what he called "the center of the constitutive dynamics of living systems". To live this dynamics in an autonomous way, living systems need to obtain resources from the environment in which they live. In other words, they are simultaneously autonomic and dependent systems. So, this condition is clearly a paradox. This self-contradictory condition cannot be adequately understood by linear thinking, according to which everything must be reduced to the binary model yes/no, or/or. When dealing with living beings, things, and events, linear thinking begins by dividing them. The next step is the analysis of the separate parts. No attempts are made to look for the dynamic relationships that exists between them.

Interaction

But what does "interaction" mean, really?
Not much, actually. A light switch is interactive. You flick it up, the light turns on. You flick it down, the light turns off. That's interaction.
(Costikyan 2002, 11)

Four categories of interaction:
1. navigation
2. participation
3. conversation
4. collaboration
(Dixon 2007, 563)

AUTOMATISM and AUTONOMY

What is Automatism

1748, first used by Eng. physician and philosopher David Hartley (1705-57) in ref. to involuntary animal or human actions, from Gk. automatos "self-acting," from autos- "self" (comb. form) + matos "thinking, animated." Sense of "self-acting, having power of motion" is from 1812; especially of machinery, which simulates human action from 1940.

1. self-thinking, self-acting; System of subsystems, in which coordination is simplified in order to system being     more productive or to function at all (as washing machine for example).

2. Being a machine.

3. Immediate answer coming from some existing code of behavior.

4. Way of dealing with things in an automatic mode.

What is Autonomy

1623, from Gk. autonomia, noun of quality from autonomos "independent, living by one's own laws," from auto- "self" (comb. form) + nomos "custom, law" (see numismatics).Autonomous is recorded from 1800

1. Self-organizing inside the existing system;

2. System of  subsystems cooperating separately and without coordination.

(that is description from myself and Dictionary and Thesaurus, New Oxford American Dictionary, 2nd Edition, Oxford American Writers Thesaurus, Copyright © 2005 Apple Computer, Inc.,)

I think what is interesting about this definition point of view: they are both almost like a similar systems, but with total different, how to say, governing system. Automatic system is set of smaller units governed from outside (by brain:) and interacting between each other functionally in order to work in most productive way, and autonomic system is a set of smaller units that are each on their own and having separate own functions and interacting between each other in self-governing mode, so how I thin: not limited by the necessity of certain outcome, or by the way how to approach it.

AIA workshop

Autonomy, Interactivity, Automatism – three tricky concepts. How to deal with them?

We suggest the following:

Let’s start by looking at them as couples. Interactivity – Autonomy. Interactivity – Automatism. Autonomy – Automatism.

How are they connected?

autonomy in interactivity?

interactive autonomy?

automatic interactivity?

interactive automat?

autonomic automatism?

automatic autonomy?

And also everything that is in between.

How do these pairs support or disturb each other? What kind of systems can we find or build (or destroy) on them?

After considering those questions, it might get easier to find some common ground for all of us to work with all three concepts.

We are also open to different suggestions.

How are we going to proceed with the workshop?

We would like to organize it as peer to peer cooperation based on propositions and contributions coming from each participant. In our opinion this would make possible reaching each of our subject in practice. We will send more detailed information about the way of participating later to everyone who would be directly interested in taking part in AIA workshop.

“We” means: Marko Alastalo and Karolina Kucia.

Marko is working on interactive brainwave music, and Karolina is working with idea of autonomy, lapsus and reanimation in self-organized actions in public space.

Contact us: marko.alastalo(at)teak.fi, karolina.kucia(at)teak.fi.

Greetings and Welcome! Marko and Karolina

PS: You are welcome with the questions you are dealing with in your projects or with some new made for this lab propositions. They don’t have to be long, or extended. Its purpose is seeding, others getting knowledge on some particular aspects that you are interested and communicating with others seeds.
